Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- Valid credentials and access to the Klarity application.
- Sufficient business process data captured and documented within the application's process index.
- The necessary role permissions to access and utilize the 'Advisor' feature.
Access the Advisor Feature and Select 'Insights' or 'Chat' Analysis
To start your analysis, navigate to the Advisor module and select the 'Insights' option for detailed reporting.
- Click the 'Advisor' tab in the left-hand navigation menu. Hover your cursor over the 'Chat' button to see its tooltip: "Ask the advisor about anything, it has access to your whole workspace."
- Hover your cursor over the 'Insights' button to view its tooltip: "Generate a detailed report scoped to the processes you select." Click the 'Insights' button to select this analysis type.
Configure the Process Scope for Analysis
Before running the analysis, confirm and select the specific processes you want to include in your report.
- Click the blue button, often labeled 'X Processes In-Scope' (e.g., '144 Processes In-Scope'), to open the process selection modal.

In the 'Select Processes' modal, scroll through your index of business processes. You can expand categories (like 'Procurement' or 'Financial Cycle') to view and select sub-processes. If unsure, you can leave all processes selected for a broader analysis.
Type and Submit your Objective or Question
To generate a targeted and actionable report, compose a specific question in the Advisor's input field. The more specific your query, the more powerful and relevant the insights will be.
- Locate the text input field under the prompt "What insights are you looking for today?"
- Type your detailed question. For example: "How can I find 20% time savings across these processes? Don't include citations, include any assumptions or potential gaps."

Click the blue arrow button to the right of the text field to submit your query and begin the analysis.
Review the Generated Analysis Report
After submitting your question or objective, the system will process your request and generate a comprehensive report. This process typically takes between two and three minutes, depending on the complexity of your query and the number of processes in scope.
Review the sections of the report but important to note - treat this as a conversation! Chat with Advisor to understand the supporting evidence or even ask for the next steps like creating a future state design!
